Dope har även medverkat i Guitar Hero 3 med låten Nothing for me here.

Kyng: KYNG the southern California hard rock trio, originated in January of 2008 in Los Angeles. Singer/songwriter Eddie Veliz bassist, Tony Castaneda and drummer Pepe Clarke Magana, after years of working off and on with each other on various projects, decided to propagate the idea of a band that would closer fulfill their musical desires. Within months of sessioning the three were sold on the chemistr...y and shortly after that went into the studio to record their debut album. The sound they realized was exactly what they had sought after, a unique and universally appealing combination of heavy and captivating concepts, channeling influences from black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin to the Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. "We wanted a band that could stand alongside anything in the scene, have the ability to crossover seamlessly and still bridge who we are.” KYNG’s versatile approach of a sweet devastation bleeds from an artistic drive toward a momentum described as "California Heavy". Their evolution will undoubtedly blaze a trail that redefines what is expected and defines the giants they will become. Their first album, Trampled Sun, on REALID Records is set to hit the streets of the US and the World Wide Web September 27 while their first two singles, Falling Down and Trails in Veins, both mixed by Mike Watts (Adelita’s Way, Hopesfall, Quicksand, Brand New), are set to take over the airwaves and online channels mid July and will be available at iTunes July 26th. The digital deluxe of Trampled Sun will contain 15 tracks exemplifying the bands great range and how much music KYNG has to offer the planet earth. The Los Angeles based trio, hailing from LA and parts of Mexico, is as unique in spirit as their sound. Reminiscent at times of the metal and hard rock of the late 1970’s in style and musical collection, with a presentation that is totally heavy, classic and modern-day all at once, they are sure to refresh the Active Rock and Metal landscapes of today and tomorrow. As drummer Pepe Clarke Magaña puts it, “I think we’re doing stuff, or a combination of stuff that has been done before, in a way it’s never been done before.” Their sound on Trampled Sun easily provokes the question, “Is that really just 3 dudes?” The pipes on Eddie Veliz reminiscent of Cornell is his early days, the thunder brought by Pepe Clarke Magaña on the drums and the rolling rhythms brought by bassist Tony Castañeda have KYNG meant for great things. Completing dates with The Sword, KYNG is currently out with Black Stone Cherry and Pop Evil and plan on touring forever as the road is the life’s blood of any young hard rock band looking to take over the world. In the land of pigs, the butcher is KYNG.

Anthrax: Anthrax was one of the pioneering groups of thrash metal in the 80s and has continued to bringing heavy metal to audiences around the world. Considered one of the "Big Four," Anthrax's signature sound and blistering tour dates have earned them a position as metal icons. While Anthrax has experienced an ever-changing lineup since its formation, its current setup harkens back to the "classic" lineup of Joey Belladonna on vocals, Scott Ian on rhythm guitar, Rob Caggiano on lead guitar, Frank Bello on bass, and Charlie Benante on drums. This Anthrax lineup will be performing concert dates in 2011 with the "Big Four" and one-off tour dates throughout Europe, Japan, and Canada.

Scott Ian and Danny Lilker formed Anthrax in 1981 and began their rise to fame with vocalist Neil Turban. Turban was replaced by Joey Belladonna in 1984 and Anthrax began to take off with the release of Spreading the Disease in 1985. The album afforded Anthrax a number of huge tour dates in the US and Europe, and was followed up by Among the Living in 1986. It was this album that launched Anthrax into the mainstream and began to develop their signature sound. State of Euphoria experienced similar success in 1988 and was followed by hugely popular US tour dates with Living Colour. While 1990's Persistance of Time featured a more somber style, it became a huge hit and even received a Grammy nomination.

In 1992, Joey Belladonna was fired from the band and replaced by John Bush. Under Bush's tenure, Anthrax released the hugely popular albums Sound of White Noise (1993) and We've Come For You All (2003), while playing sold-out tour dates around the world. In 2005, Anthrax went on concert dates with the much beloved lineup of Ian Scott, Joey Belladonna, Charlie Benante, Dan Spitz, and Frank Bello. While the tour was successful and delighted fans, neither John Bush nor Joey Belladonna returned to the band after the tour dates were over. While fans enjoyed Dan Nelson's few tour dates with the band, Anthrax welcomed back Joey Belladonna in 2010, shortly before the first "Big Four" concert date at the Sonisphere festival.

Anthrax continues to play tour dates while fans eagerly anticipate the release of Worship Music on September 12 (even though production began in 2008) and 2011 concert dates this summer. Next up for Anthrax are tour dates in Europe beginning on July 2; some of which will include the other members of the "Big Four." Due to the expectation of Scott Ian's new child, he will be replaced by Andreas Kisser until July 16. Anthrax with Scott Ian will head to Canada for two concert dates on July 23 and make an appearance with the "Big Four" at Yankee Stadium on September 14. Beginning on December 12, Anthrax will play four tour dates in Japan, thus rounding out their concert dates for 2011. Anthrax might add more tour dates once Worship Music releases, so check Eventful for updates.

Steely Dan: Steely Dan is an American jazz rock band based around musicians and songwriters Walter Becker and Donald Fagen.

Rickie Lee Jones: THE SERMON ON EXPOSITION BOULEVARD, the new album by Rickie Lee Jones and her first for New West Records, is a beauty--soul-satisfying and sonically unique. RICKIE LEE sounds completely tapped in, alive and vital, heading down some mighty interesting roads and discovering new magical essences. Lots of creative sparks here--plenty of them. She sounds like she's going through a transformation throughout the album in a way that's reminiscent of Van Morrison's performances on his classic album Astral Weeks. There’s Rickie’s spellbinding performance on the eight-plus free-flowing minutes of “I Was There,” and so many other highlights here, including “Where I Like It Best,” “Gethsemane,” “Falling Up,” “Circle In The Sand,” “7th Day” and “Elvis Cadillac” and especially “Nobody Knows My Name.”

Joe Bonamassa: Born in upstate New York, Joe Bonamassa started playing guitar, on a short-scale Chiquita, at the age of four. By seven he had graduated to a full-scale model and a year later, he was playing the blues like a veteran. At ten, Joe began performing at local venues and at twelve, he was asked to open for B. B. King. The blues legend, after hearing Joe play for the first time, declared, This kids potential is unbelievable. Hes one of a kind. Kings high regard for Joe would be echoed by other guitar greats the young performer would go on to work with, including Buddy Guy, Danny Gatton, Robert Cray and Stephen Stills. While still in his teens, Joe met musician Berry Oakley, Jr., and together they put together the group Bloodline.

Signed to EMI, although the band had strong initial success, it eventually disbanded. In 2000, Joe recorded his debut solo CD, A New Day Yesterday, produced by the legendary Tom Dowd (Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart, John Coltrane). The memorable melodies and potent guitar work of A New Day Yesterday brought to mind the classic blues-based rock of Cream, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Jeff Beck Group, and the Allman Brothers Band. Upon returning from the road in 2002, Bonamassa hooked up with Clif Magness (Avril Lavigne) to record the muscular and sweeping studio disc So, It's Like That, which hit ..1 on the Billboard Blues Chart multiple times.

To celebrate 2003 Year of the Blues, Bonamassa released Blues Deluxe, featuring nine cover versions of blues classics along with three originals. Around this time, Joe became involved with Blues in the Schools, a program developed by the Blues Foundation to help perpetuate the heritage and legacy of blues music. The lectures take teenage students on a journey, tracing the evolution of blues music, from its birth among the field workers of the Delta during the late 1800s up to the present day. The lectures are followed by a live performance by Bonamassa.

Bonamassas next CD, Had To Cry Today, continued where Blues Deluxe left off. Mixing original and classic blues, the CD incorporates influences of Chicago, Delta and British blues into something electrifying and wholly unique. In the summer of 2005, Bonamassa was personally asked by BB King to open for his landmark 80th Birthday Celebration Tour, and a few months later in January 2006, Bonamassa, in recognition of efforts in promoting blues music, was nominated as the youngest member of The Blues Foundation committee board. Bonamassas latest CD, You and Me, is scheduled for a June 6, 2006 release. The new CD marks the debut collaboration of Bonamassa and producer Kevin Shirley (Led Zeppelin, The Black Crowes, Aerosmith, Joe Satriani).

A powerful fusion of the big rock sound and swampy blues, You and Me gets much of its inspiration from such masters as Peter Green, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and John Lee Hooker. Bonamassa makes his home in Los Angeles.

In This Moment: The Southern California based quintet quickly became one of the most talked about artists within the local scene due to the intensity of frontwoman Maria Brink and an undying work ethic. This buzz carried over to the band’s MySpace page resulting in over 121,000 friends and over 1,100,000 plays.

The group’s songwriting blends together a propulsive mixture of metal and hard rock elements that will quickly help them carve out their own unique niche within the scene. The diversity and depth of their songwriting is refreshing and their musical prowess is simply undeniable.
